About Jenny
Jennifer was born in 1983 and raised in Lyndonville, NY. Meeting the Lord at any early age, she was soon impacted by a revival that swept through her family’s church. It was here that her burden for the unsaved bloomed into a passion that ushered her into public ministry.
Commencing her first forty-day fast at just 15-years old, Jennifer began praying for lost souls in her high school and for national events like The Miles Ahead Crusade and DC-LA, where she sang on the Mall in Washington, DC in front of over 20,000 students.
She would eventually join the national youth conference, Joshua Revolution, as an intern and perform with the singing group Amazing Love. It was here that she also started singing back-up for Christopher Hopper, a man she would later marry in 2003. These performances were captured on Christopher Hopper Live and released in 2003.
Her recording debut was made on a short-run LP, Redeemer, reproduced for a few friends. But after the success of his first live album, it would be her husband that urged her to accompany him on Falling For You, their first album together, released on their wedding day. While singing back-up on Christopher’s next release, Airborn, his band decided to support her on her first full-length album, Written In The Sand. The wide range of styles, including jazz, country, R&B and contemporary worship, gained her a large audience and has since ushered into her own unique music ministry. Jennifer also appeared on Dialed In and Pour Toi by the Christopher Hopper Band.
Jennifer is now an active leader within 33 Live, New Life Christian Church’s Teen & College Ministry, and speaks often for Dibor, a two-year international discipleship school. She travels with her husband throughout the United States and Europe, teaching on entering the secret place with God and ministering in music. Her heart for issues of purity, fasting, the Father’s heart for the lost and relationships are also common threads in her public ministry.
She resides in the 1,000 Islands region of northern NY with Christopher and her two children, Evangeline Mae and Luik Christopher, whom she loves mothering.
