Meditation Brings Prosperity & Success
ARE YOU A TREE?
Psalm 1:2 “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night, he Is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither, whatever he does prospers.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 “But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water, that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought, and never fails to bear fruit.
What does this scripture show? That meditating on God’s word, waters us, not just any water but streams, as water in the stream runs over the rocks it becomes alive. Also the word of God produces fruit in this life, and because of the tree being rooted by streams of water it does not wither, it does not fade, and its roots are grounded deep making it difficult for it to be uprooted by temptation, it is solid, it is does not shrink back from the heat of temptation, nor is it swayed by the winds of unrighteousness.
Joshua 1:8 “Do let this book of the law depart from your mouth, meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
